By downloading, installing, or using the Mihrab mobile application or this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use Mihrab.

These terms apply to all users of the Mihrab app and website, operated by MeritLife Technologies.

2. Description of Service

Mihrab is a free Islamic utility application that provides prayer times, masjid listings, Qibla direction, Quran access, Hadith collections, Islamic radio, and a Muslim-owned business directory.

The service is provided free of charge and without mandatory registration. Certain features (prayer times, Qibla) require location access. We reserve the right to add, modify, or discontinue features at any time.

3. Permitted Use

Mihrab is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use only. You may use the app for your own religious practice and to discover local Islamic resources.

• You may use prayer time data for personal scheduling.
• You may share masjid information with family and friends.
• You may use the Qibla and Quran features for personal worship.

4. Prohibited Use

You must not:

• Scrape, copy, or redistribute Mihrab content or data for commercial purposes.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app.
• Use the service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair Mihrab or its servers.
• Submit false, misleading, or harmful information through contact forms or business listings.
• Use automated tools to access or interact with the app or website.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service or its related systems.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, branding, and materials within Mihrab — including the Mihrab name, logo, and visual identity — are the intellectual property of MeritLife Technologies. All rights reserved.

Quranic text is used in accordance with accepted scholarly guidelines. Hadith content is sourced from verified public collections. Masjid data is provided for informational purposes.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

Mihrab is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

Prayer times are calculated using established Islamic methodologies and are provided as a guide — they may vary slightly from times announced by local masjids. We do not guarantee that all masjid listings are complete or up to date. Users should verify information locally where important decisions depend on it.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MeritLife Technologies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, Mihrab or its content.

This includes, without limitation, reliance on prayer time calculations, masjid listing information, or any content accessed through the app.

8. Third-Party Links and Services

Mihrab may contain links to third-party websites and services, including Google Play, the Apple App Store, and external masjid websites. These links are provided for convenience only.

We do not endorse and have no control over third-party content. Accessing third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Mihrab after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
